Hah, I sort of just realized it's not 2009 anymore. I spent new years eve at Madeira watching the fireworks, but really I wish I was at home celebrating it with friends. Wasn't that bad though, the fireworks were quite fantastic. Apparently Madeira once had the Guinness World Record for the most splendid fireworks show.
I took approximately 900 photos during the trip (woha), but since I'm quite behind on posting.. it might take a while before they're up here on DA.

Soooo... what are my new-years resolutions? I can't think of anything other than the ones I had for 2009: Have more fun, take some really good photos, meet new people, TRAVEL and drink more beer. yay! Also, I would like to learn Japanese, but I think I'm too lazy for it. Oh, and I want a job. And a boyfriend wouldn't be too bad.

I'm going to Madeira tomorrow. I can't wait; it's gonna be nice to get out of this cold winter land for a bit. Only thing that sucks though, is that I have to celebrate new years eve down there. I'd rather want to do that in Oslo with my friends, but I guess not..

Also, I got some money for christmas. I've now got enough to buy a new lens, but I'm not sure of which yet. I'm thinking that if I'm actually buying a new lens, I want it to be good. Like something from Canon's L series. But then again I'd need more money to buy an L lens, and my budget now is around $800. Got any ideas?

I made myself a promise two years ago when blogging was seriously starting to become a trend (though it kind of was already), but .. I sort of broke it: I'm now on tumblr. On another hand, I'm not going to write about what I ate for breakfast or what I'm wearing today, and neither that much about photography (yes, believe it or not). I'm mostly gonna write about music and come with recommendations, as well as perhaps posting a photo I've taken now and then. If you're on tumblr, please follow me!

Seriously, I'm tired of being in such a lack of motivation when it comes to photography. I feel like working on a new project or whatever, or just simply have a fashion shoot or something. Well anyway, I mean one where I can work with a MUA and a good model who can make my job as a photographer slightly easier. So eh, if you happen to know anyone in Oslo, or HAPPEN to be a MUA/model yourself, please do contact me. I'll even do it for free.

In other news, I'm looking for photography universities abroad. I'm thinking something like fashion, editorial or press photography, but it must be a school inside of Europe: England, Denmark (Copenhagen), Germany (Berlin!!!) etc. And of course, it must be english-speaking.
I'm not gonna start at uni straight after High School though, I'm going to take a year off working my ass of, hopefully as a freelance photographer/photography assistant (+ an additional job), and then I'm gonna travel for two months. Japan and Oceania, most likely.
